Custom Home Expert is a licensed and insured award-winning team with over 20 years’ experience in custom home improvements. Founder John Mahr started his passion for building and woodworking with his father, owner of Patio Creations, Inc., a Lexington staple in sunrooms and patio enclosures.

John’s expertise in woodworking and cabinetry has landed his own crew with prestigious projects in Lexington and surrounding areas. Like father like son, Joseph Mahr followed in the steps of his father and has been part of the CHE team since 2017.
